As a junior in 2020, appeared in all 11 games and added 28 tackles, 1 PD and 1 FF. Was also named Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Year and Second-Team All-American by Pro Football Focus. In 2021, appeared in 12 games and tallied 21 tackles, 10 PDs and 4 INTs, earning First-Team All-Sun Belt honors. He appeared in 36 games in three years (2020-22) at South Alabama and registered 86 tackles, 16 PDs, 5 INTs and 1 FF after transferring from Pearl River (Poplarville, MS) Community College where he appeared in 18 games in two seasons (2018-19) and recorded 27 tackles, 14 PDs and 3 INTs.
